Bruges Belgium is a beautiful Medieval city that is sometimes called the “Venice of the North”. This short film provides a quick overview of its beautiful canals, historic buildings, cathedrals and attractive city squares. Bruges (or Brugge in Flemish) was once the second largest city in Europe, after London. It was a major player in the cloth trade with Britain and was very wealthy during its “golden age”. Today, Bruges is a popular tourist destination for Europeans and viisitors from around the world.
