Nova Scotia Travel:Travel Halifax.Nova Scotia- Canada Travel. Nova Scotia Travel Video PostCard. Halifax Farmers market
Nova Scotia is a perfect Family Travel destination.
Nova Scotia is a family travel, adventure travel place to visit with kayaking, biking, hiking and lighthouses. But Halifax, Nova Scotia’s capital, is a very British place to visit with British Citadels, wonderful shops on the waterfront and Nova Scotia hospitality in all the restaurants. Halifax, Nova Scotia, has many family travel sites like interactive museums and walking streets in Halifax, in Nova Scotia.
Halifax, Nova Scotia, has North America’s oldest, continuously operating Farmers Market. The Farmers market is one of Halifax, Nova Scotia’s most fun places to visit. The Farmer’s market in Halifax, Nova Scotia is full of families enjoying the Halifax, Nova Scotia Farmers Market.
The Halifax Farmers Market feels more like the bazaars of the Mediterranean than those of the rocky shores of the Atlantic.
Every Saturday, Brewery Market in Halifax is jammed with stalls overflowing with green, red, purple and orange produce fresh from local farms … a foodie’s dream and a Family Travel delight.
The venue is the old but still functioning Keith Brewery on Halifax’s waterfront whose stone walls and archways echo with the sound of musicians and the up-beat, chatter of hundreds of people.
Young and old; babies and grandparents, mix with piles of golden baked goods, hand crafted wooden bowls ..and lots of laughter.
Try some blueberry balsamic vinegar , or indulge in a warm cinnamon bun…and before you leave, scoop up a bunch of Dahlias here in the Farmers Market in Halifax, Nova Scotia

    I have never met a …
I have never met a single person who has visited Halifax and hasn’t fell in love. If you watch regis and kelly, you will recall Regis paid a visit to the casino here back in the fall, and spent more time than neccesary on his show raving about what an amazing, beautiful city Halifax was. He didn’t just mention it for a second to be polite, he spend a good half of their scheduled banter time of 20 minutes, and brought pictures to show the audience. I just moved here 2 years ago, and I love it:)

    . I’m sorry but its …
. I’m sorry but its a clean city by most Canadian, and most definately American standards. Halifax Harbour has always had pollution issues, but most harbours do, its difficult to control that. I Never said I would go swimming in the harbour, I was laughing at the fact that this video makes Hali look like it is on a beachfront. By the way, and nice try, but I live in Halifax.

  17. marinasvoice October 7, 2009 7:26 am

    ahahhah clearly …
ahahhah clearly you’ve never been to Halifax..
Sure, it seems nice .. on paper and in pictures..
sure, you can TRY to swim in the water.. if you want to get sick and die.. the harbour ( NOT beach) is where all the waste from hotels & casinos go. All the fumes and garbage from ships, will make you light headed if you stand too close to water anyways.
.. Beautiful as Halifax is, with such rich history.. it’s a city & just as polluted as NYC!!

    It’s a small town? …
It’s a small town? Since when do you call a city of 400,000 people a ” small town”… sounds like you guys have never even b een there.. the only beaches I know near Halifax would be a good hour outside the city.
